Shachar is currently studying the mechanical properties of hybrid nanomaterials as part of his Ph.D. degree. Using sequential infiltration synthesis (SIS), he designs and fabricates organic-inorganic materials with unique nano-scale structure and properties. Shachar has completed his B.Sc. in Biochemical engineering at the Technion in 2016. Between 2016 and 2019 he worked as R and D engineer in the military defense technology industry.
